This month’s yard is both spectacular and inspiring. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to talk to the owner(s) before writing this article, so I won’t be able to share the history of the making of this yard, located at 4138 Donna Street.
What caught my eye on this yard was the English garden look done with drought tolerant plants like lantana, daisies, false heather and a variety of grasses. You enter the yard by a soft curved brick walkway surrounded by flowers on both your right and left. As you stop to take a look at these whimsical flowers that gently wave with the hot summer breeze, you become aware of the birdbath and statues peeking out from beneath the shade welcoming you into the yard. This yard is beautiful and has a very "Alice in Wonderland" feel. Great job whomever you are! I’d love to hear from you and learn how your yard came to be so special.
