RE: THE BOULEVARD BOO! PARADE CANCELLED
PARADE: OCTOBER 27, 2007 12pm
CARNIVAL: OCTOBER 27, 2007 11am-5:00pm
The 3rd Annual Boulevard BOO! Parade & Carnival scheduled for this Saturday, October 27th have been canceled due to the recent fires in San Diego County and the poor air quality. The College Area Business District and the College Neighborhoods Foundation recognize the severity of the fires, and the necessity for the Police and Fire Departments to focus their efforts on those families and homes that have been affected.
The parade was scheduled for noon on Saturday along El Cajon Blvd. from 59th St. to Rolando Blvd. The Parade Committee is examining a possible reschedule, and will notify the public through their website next Friday, November 2nd.
